Beach Days

OOPS!!! I forgot to put the pictures in first! Read below!

Hello everyone,

This past week has been consumed with packing and cleaning, but somehow we squeezed in some beach time over the weekend. Sunday we headed out to Carolina Beach where we stayed with Quinns co-worker Jason and his girlfriend. It was great, two days just chilling at the beach. It was memorial day weekend and the beaches were packed. It was perfect weather and Quinn and I got to swim a ton! Today we head down to Florida for our friends wedding, we will be back sunday and say our final goodbyes monday morning....CRAZY. I can't even believe that three years have come and gone so fast. I am constantly filled with mixed emotions. I am going to attempt to keep up on our trip so stay tuned.

Love to you all.

The Update

Hello all. I have had many complaints about my lack of blogging lately. My deepest apologies! However, I hope you can understand my circumstances have not allowed me to blog at my best! I promise to make up for it in the near future.

WARNING: THIS IS VERY RANDOM!
Here is an update:
*Mom and dad came for graduation, and we had a blast. We needed more time: we got to the beach, sunny skies ice cream, dad made a new friend (surprise) mom and I were great adventurers, dad and Quinn got to play and a good time was had by all. Long story short, we had mom's camera and no cord, so the pics are with her and you will all see those before I could even get them from her to blog!
*Campbell baseball, in all its glory made it to the A-Sun tourney, (God only knows how), so Quinner has been in Florida since Monday, poor guy. Or poor me, that means I have been in the Creek alone since Monday, trying not to go insane. I thought this place was quite when school was going on, but now it is a complete ghost town, I swear I went three days without seeing another soul, and my day revolves around my walk to the post office!
*Which brings me to another circumstance, every time Quinn has gone out of town this season, there has been a tornado warning, severe thunder storm, or trees falling behind me. And this trip was no exception, a tornado touched down in Holly Springs, a town about 2o minutes from here!!! Is that a sign?
*While mom and I were trying to be great adventurers, the van broke down! Yep, on the outer banks, which is a very long strip of islands. Friday we headed back and the only way out was to drive to the very last island, Ocracoke (ask mom to say it for you:) where you then have to catch a ferry to the main land. Long story short, the schedule was all wrong and we made the 10pm ferry, it ended up being a 2 hour and 15 min trip, so we made it to land at 12:15 am and had to drive back about four hours. Good thing we slept on the ferry. We got back to the creek at 4:3o am and had to wake up at 5:45 am to get to airport! Poor mom! But we had good talks and great junk food to keep us alert! Thanks mom~your the best.
*To add to all the other drama, gas prices are now $4.00 a gallon in Raleigh. FUN FUN FUN for our 3,500 mile trip home!!!
*Besides all of that I am actually having a hard time thinking that it is time to move onto a new chapter in life. Just when Quinn and I finally get the hang of life in NC, it is time to go...but onto bigger and better places.

We are very excited to get home and spend tons of time with all our family, please forgive me in advance if I have grouchy moments. After all we will have driven/camped across the country for the past two weeks, and we will be living in random places over the summer, going back and forth from Bellingham, to Spokane and Montana! You all know me, I need my own place to nest...so if you see it just give me a moment to collect myself...and remember I love you all!

Brook and Dave, I can't wait to see the house and be your interior designer! Get ready it could get crazy...I work better with a beer;)
Sean and Rachel, your daughter is adorable and uncle chainsaw can't wait to meet her finally. Hope you don't get sick of seeing us :)
Geoff and Danielle, I am extremely excited for you two....and your growing family. I know you will be wonderful parents...not to mention your child will have a sweet auntie Mary and uncle Quinn! Can't wait to see the little bump!
Mom and Dad, I love you more than ever. Count Quinn and myself in to help with the house this summer. Thank you for the wonderful trip, wish you were still here:)

Well I hope you are all happy now...sorry no pictures, ask mom to see them.

Cheers!!!

Photography Lesson 1&2

OOPS! Im bad at posting. My explanation is below. Basically I am trying photography lesson's given by Misty (rachels sister) on her blog.

So this is kinda strange but, I have been reading Misty (Rachels sister) blog about photography. I guess I like it because I can try whatever parts I like and leave out the others. But I love it all, and since I am incredibly board and have nothing to do all week I thought I would give it a try. So here are my attempts at photography. I think the lessons were on the rule of thrids and close ups and something with lines! See, I don't even know what exactly it was about, but I think it helped.

On top of that, the sun was shining all day long and we have a beautiful yard with tons of flowers blooming, so it was easy!
